Windows Tricks !!

Here is the collection of some of the windows tricks you might not know





1. Show your name after time (  In place of AM and PM ) in the taskbar !!

Goto=> Start => Control Panel => Regional and Language Option => Click on Customize => Go to TIME Tab => Change AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to your name => Apply => Ok
If it doesn't show again follow the steps below.
Go to time in the taskbar and Double Click it to open "Date and time property"
Look place where time changes in digital form i.e. 05:42:32 AM , click to arrow to change the AM or PM by selecting and press arrow. It will show  the name entered by You and finally click on Apply.


2. Make a folder without any name !!

Create a new folder
Rename it as alt + 0160
That's it. Now you can see folder without any name.

3. Some Windows Shortcuts

Windows Key+D   Show Desktop
Windows Key+L    Allows you to switch users :)
Windows Key+E   Brings up the Windows Explorer
Windows Key+R  Bring up Run.
F6 automatically highlights the URL in the address bar of internet browsers
Ctrl + Home Goes to beginning of the page or document
Ctrl + End    Goes to end of the page or document

4. Close Multiple Programs with One Click

Hold down the Ctrl key and individually click each of the open programs on the task bar. Once all buttons are selected, click on one of the selected buttons with the right mouse button and click close.

5. View more Send to options in Windows

By default Windows will have few of the more commonly used programs and locations on to send a file or folder to when choosing the Send to option in the right-click menu. However, if you want even more locations to send a file or folder then hold down the Shift key when right-clicking the file or folder to get additional options.

6. Make a folder with name CON

Rename folder from the right click option. Now press ALT and press 255 from the NUM pad then write con and press enter.  Now you LL see a con folder in your PC which can be deleted easily.
